I've been communicating with Cheerful Dragon, and we've both come to the conclusion that we both hate bad & inconsiderate drivers, and other things to do with drivers.

The list of bad things includes:

- General lack of use of indicators (you know, those orange blinky things), especially where roundabouts or pedestrians are concerned

- Use of cars for pointlessly short trips (you know, the kind where it takes longer to start the car than it does to walk)

- Placement of speed limits. For example, why are some roads marked 40mph when it's perfectly safe to travel at 50 or 60mph along them? Also, on my way back home from work, there is a stretch of 40mph road; some way into the stretch, they put another 40mph sign (as if you need reminding!), but then 10 yards later, they drop the limit to 30mph!! What's the point of that? Needless to say, this is a very popular speed trap with the police!

Do you have any other pet hates about driving?

Or am I (& Cheerful Dragon) the only perfect drivers left in the country???!!
