Mostly yours, of course.
Is last week going to be marked at all?

Yes it will be marked. At the moment I'm recovering from a 75hour working week last week. Coming home exhausted every night I really didn't feel like dedicating the time to marking the results. Sorry.

I see Newcastle are playing without any strikers again.

Given Yeovil's injuries I was surprised so many people went for them.
Mind you most of my first scorers didn't even play.

Orcus Posted Nov 12, 2006
Well I wanted to go for the Diamonds given that they are the most local team for where I grew up (Bedford) but given their form and fortunes of late I wasn't holding out much hope.
I am delighted to be proved wrong though

Bloody hell, changing that Mansfield scoreline has earned Ormy a full house, oh the irony.
Still, can't complain, a pretty good points haul overall really.

Ormondroyd Posted Nov 12, 2006
Yes, I had noticed! But I think honour has been satisfied all round. By my arithmetic, I've had a good week but you've done even better, and reduced my lead by two points.
Ah well - I don't mind dropping points so much if it happens because of a Huddersfield defeat.

mmmm, it looked to me that *really* ironically we've scored equal.
Oh well, I guess the Deskmeister's spreadsheet will iron it out.

Yakus' PP stuff is as follows:
Burton Albion 2-0 Tamworth
Huddersfield 1-0 Blackpool
Rushden & Diamonds 0-0 Yeovil
Mansfield 1-1 Accrington Stanley
Wrexham 0-1 Stevenage
With no scorer points.

With Nirvanite's absence and me[Andy]g's balls up, Orcus and Ormondroyd have taken the opportunity to storm ahead.
The pair of them share top spot with 10 points - well done lads (though the purists might say that Ormy did better with his Full House. I don't know, over to you I guess.)
Everyone else did between average and OK, with the exception of Andy, of course. Could this be more or less the end of the season? Does anyone have a chance of catching them?

so my paltry 4 points is "OK"?
it's hard to believe i was once actually rather good at this.

I feel I deserve some credit for Ormy's full house
Anwyay, a rather pleasing week really, looks like a two horse race now although I need a good week alone to threaten that lead of Ormy's properly

I can remember when I was way out in front and blew it Newcastle United Kevin Keegan-style... so if Ormy was to lose out now, I would Love It, just Love It

I think the comparisons run deep. Just like Wor Kev, you haven't got a chance.
