Very dear Mr. and Mrs. Smudger,

How wonderful to have such a marvellous reunion. and congratulations on having turned what you thought was a failure into a tradition!!.

I would like to see a photo of the three of you all dressed up for the occasions. Very smart.

I did not realise that you had worked on the royal Yacht. I am sure that the queen must miss it like mad. I would like nothing better than to have a small comfortable ship like that for travelling around on/in!!.

Regards to the two of you

Hello there Ar1smiley - biggrin, Yes I was on there for two and a half years, but I came off right after the refit as it was not the same at all after that. I think when they took away the hammocks and gave us bunks as well as a dinning hall, it changed the whole atmosphere reallysmiley - erm

Besides that, the new men we were getting as replacements for the old boys leaving did not want to do all the hard work that went along with the perks of the jobsmiley - sadface
So I am glad I was there when the old rules and messing was there. I actually met HM a few times, in fact I had my wedding bands read out on board at the Sunday morning Church parade, and she asked to see me afterwards, and we had a wee chat about my home town and other stuffsmiley - ok

Thanks for your posting, it makes me feel good when I get feedback form my Snippets, gives me the OOmph! to write moresmiley - laughsmiley - winkeye
smiley - cheersSmudger,

Hi AR1 smiley - biggrin, No the lady form the housing office has not been in touch for some time nowsmiley - erm and is never in when we phone. Besides, it will have to be a really good place for us to give up all our benefits to move into, you see we will have to live off the proceeds of our house sale paying dull rent and council tax and medicines, until we have spent it all, then they say we can re-apply for my disability benefits againsmiley - erm
Same goes for Mk2, as we are house owners at present, and as such do not qualify for housing, the only reason the council are helping us at all, is that we are being harassedsmiley - erm
smiley - cheersSmudger,
