Hi GD.
Just written an Entry on Global Warming which is in PR at A4383128.
Thought it would be appropriate for me to join the CPG.
(btw, none of the other Researchers listed above seem to have been added to your Front Page!?)
Think I ought to add a ling to the CPG from my Global Warming Entry.

Yes, umm... the climate prediction thing got a bit complicated when my previous computer died. You see between the time of me setting this thing, and getting a new PC. I discovred that there was a different set of software for the project - BOINC.
The upshot of all this is that I have an account and a group on the dead PC with the old project software. And a whole new account on the new PC which is running the new software. The group running this new version was actually set up by Mort of this parish (not that she's done much with it)
There is, I think, an URL to join the group directly. However the site is closed for maintenance at the moment, and I can't access it. I'll post it up tomorrow

Yes, I've been trying to access that site all weekend b- but didn't get a message to say that it's closed for maintenance. (There was a link for it on the message board of the original PR thread. When I couldn't access it I began to wonder if the site was defunct).

It looks like I need to do a bit of editing then...
The link for the team running the BOINC version of the package is - http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/team_display.php?teamid=703

I'm about to sign up with the climate prediction project connected to an OU short course based around it. So I'll be runnning whatever version the OU want me to during the course, don't know if that's BOINC or not

well am up and running , two projects needing 935 hours each of processing time. but let me tell you guys these run my cpu at 100% and my laptop is running smoothly, guess when you really run those processers at max then other simple tasks that we regularly use will also run better. I reccommend you to join up BOINC is by university of california , Berkely. so expect some snooping, and if you pass their whatever you fly on all networks.
