"Nice work you do here, Mikey. Do you also plan to provide some subtitles for the emoticons as that was our main reason to visit the original page. Oh yes, can you please persuade the Italics to reroute the smileys to this page instead of the current nonsene page. As you probably know all smileys used in conversations have a to the central smiley page, perfect to see what can be meant by them."
Great work

Hmmmm, not sure what you mean by subtitles? I've put in the name for each smiley, I could theoretically add in a description, but that would make it pretty hard for everything to fit in one row -- I really don't want the coding bits to have to overlap onto a second row on the average sized screen, as that would make it much more confusing for many people. I'm trying to keep this page as simple as possible, so that it won't take forever and a day to load -- I think if people want the full descriptions for the smileys, they're better off going to the official page(s).
I don't think it's likely the Italics would reroute the autosmiley link to this page, but it's possible that once it's done, we can get them to have a link to this page from the main smiley page.
I've gotten a few more categories added in now, the Emotions ones come next.

"Hmm, pity, the emoticons was just the only part I had finished jet < A1321561 >, but what the hack your smileys are indeed faster to load.
So there is enough difference already to let them co-exist."

"I do not buy the excuse of serverload, there are postings containing all 200 (184) in one page. The big problem with the previous page was in the length, and Traveller managed to get around that issue."

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
