Well, If I come across I'll be going there anyway, whether its part of the meet with other researchers or on my own

If I'm persuaded that a trip to London is actually a good idea I'd certainly like to go and see that.

Does that mean you're going twice
It's quite expensive and needs to be booked in advance, but considering the exhibition closes on the 11th January it's pretty good timing

Very good timing.
I'm not sure if I'll be coming at all, I suppose I could always sneak off before the evening do.

*Turns up, just to make Odo paranoid*
Is there a reason you'll be jetting off before the evening do?

Hi daSilva, long time no see!!
Does this mean your going to start to re-appear in all my threads again?
I've a feeling I'll be around for the evening.

As a deffinate for now I think.
B will probably be along to, though he won't go anywhere near a LOTR exhibition.

I don't think people are taking it with a big enough pinch of salt
In my job, you learn to take a big bag of the stuff with you, wherever you go

So that's what the wheelbarrow is for.....
He doesn't like the books either so there really isn't much hope for him.

but...but...but...but...but...but...
*finally moors the narrow-boat, switches off the engine and steps onto the towpath*

Gnomon - time to move on Posted Oct 29, 2003
I'd like to go to the Science Museum, but I don't think I'm interested in the Lord of the Rings exhibition. Anybody else want to join me for a tour around the rest of the museum. If it was any other group of people, I'd offer to lead a tour and explain all the sights, but you lot know so much about science, you'd find me out.

I'm not really here Posted Oct 29, 2003
I'm going there this Monday with my wee boy, so I probably won't make it for the meet as well. Too much walking around for my liking! I'll probably just turn up for the

ok, i think we need to revive this thread cos i don't see much organised for the younger members and non-drinkers who may be coming.
i vote for museum too. but again, i doubt i will be interested in the LOTR exhibit like the films, but not that much
so shall we decide on an afternoon event so 2legs can put it on the front page for those who are not subscribed to this to see?
hands up for museum...
(ps. we could have a group go to the museum and those that want to go to the exhibit can and those who don't, well, don't)
