Sorry to be pedantic but 'professional' (however it should be spelt) was missed (second useage) by tired and fed up Shazz coz boots alway posts too late for a decent spell check and 'call me pernickerty' but if I knew how to use guide Ml (sad first form pupil I don't) Think I would have put main protagonist in itallics (sp)...but then what do I know anyway?

S/p corrected - don't have an automatic spell checker here (only a Dutch one) so have to be extra vigilant.
As the 'main protagonist' is also the narrator (I assume that's who you mean?), then that one is and always has been non-italic... leaving the frequent and infrequent 'extra's' as the italicised sections.
I have always done it that way boots...

good to hear from you. Glad that the site is getting back to normal, the summer was most boring, hardly anyone came out to play. Should we arrange a halloween party to welcome them all back?

I think a Halloween party sounds wonderful! I don't get to pop in as often as I used to...heck, hardly ever come to think of it. I do make a point of popping in to at least read The Post and see what is going on. I think though that I could squeeze in a bit of party time for a good ol' fashioned h2g2 bash

Did you pick this up from the post or from AWW Waz? I am testing a theory that more peeps read AWW than the post. I whacked a whole lot of old post entries in in one hit and have had the best critique fed back to date. All really helpful. I think that could be an answer to a question. Stack 'em high and post in a block!

I've seen some of the AWW comments though. They look excellent.
Nothing to do with stacking them high. Speckly found a vein of gold down them mines and is following it with enthusiasm .
