I do, really - how else would one be able to enjoy each season for itself if you didn't know the difference?
*sits down on a kitchen chair to enjoy the scent of herbs drying and a pie baking in the oven*
Mmmmmm... *relaxes*

But you can't have apple pie. With the lovely cinnamon and nutmeg.
It must be lovely in Sweden right now. We're still a couple of weeks away from our color change.

The leaves are just beginning to change colour - we haven't had much frost yet, but the dry summer (on top of last year's extremely dry and warm summer) makes the leaves go yellow even before the first frost
No apple pie? Oh, I'll settle for whatever you're baking!

I thought you were allergic to apples. You mean you can have apple pie? Excellent! Freshly baked apple pie coming up.
*wonders who it is who is allergic to apples*

Certain kind of fresh apples - yep, allergic reaction, especially if the apples are yellow or red...
... but cooking or frying or baking them seems to lessen the amount of proteine in the - uh - peal?

boots, yesterday I received 6 additional blackberry plants from the nursery. I already have a blackberry patch, but by the time I divide with the neighbors and my relatives, I don't get very many for myself.
Key: Complain about this post
