That is a very good change

I like the examples of benefits that you give, but I also notice that they are one-sided - that is they accrue to the reader. Your entry is not one-sided, so why should the wrap-up be? You might also include how thrilling it can be when you are the one that is needed and you are there for your friend. (i'm sure some small part of the thrill is when endorphins are released - it seems they are always released - which makes me think of the song 'I get high with a little help from my friends...')
