I'm going to try to proofread this this week (which will take a while) but meanwhile, if anyone has some interesting facts, suggestions, etc... feel free to tell me!

I'm not a natural proof reader, (sound of laughing at my understandment from the background). But I have to say that this entry is excellent I can't think of anything to add, having read one entire book on Christopher Columbus I'm hardly an expert, and that was a pop up book.

Thanks Z
I'm working on proofreading this one... the first part is done but I'm not sure my printer can handle the second and third parts!

Good idea, I've never printed out any of my own entries to proof read, but now we have a network printer at home () I should try it, I often find errors when I re read entries.

I can't stand proofreading my own entries any other way!! For some reason, I can't sit down at a computer and read something I just wrote.
I also print out long entries (such as the Lord Byron Series) for proofreading. This one falls into both categories I suppose

Wow! It's a biggy!
Opening looks good (got as far as him having the idea of getting to Japan by sailing West); will try to get back to you when i have time to dedicate to the rest.
