It's not my fault

The toaster broke,

The drain was blocked,

The car wouldn't start,

The traffic was bad.


Fifteen minutes till check-in closes.


It's not my fault

The road was closed,

The car park was full,

The train was late,

Our suitcase burst.


Ten minutes till check-in closes.


It's not my fault

We missed the bus,

The board was wrong,

Jane was sick,

The queue was long.


Five Minutes till check-in closes.


And it's not my fault the flight's delayed ...

... by sixteen hours.


Fifteen hours, fifty-five minutes till check in closes.
