Hello Traveller.

Thanks for the tip about subscribing. I'm still trying to get used to h2g2, and that's my only excuse.

This is not meant to be rude, but after posting this, I will unsubsribe. Please say anything else about the entry in the review conversation. It's just that handling all those conversations on my page is hard to handle, so one less will help.

Can you clarify the thing about &minus? (I have used it in lots of other places - it seems to work as a non-breaking hyphen, and also is the same size as +, and as most of what I write is about maths ...)

Have you got a nice, well understood physical example which gives the same behaviour as my example. I choose the maths first, then tried to hang something real on it. I stuck with the train as long as I could.

OH

All just fresh from the market
15 Sandwiches in a basket
One for the shop and one on the way
13 Sandwiches in a basket
One in the stairway
12 Sandwiches in a basket
One got away hiding in a jacket
11 Sandwiches in a basket
A half with some nuts
11 Sandwiches in a basket
The other half with guts
....
