It just needs the tenses sorting out, and the last eight years of his life chronicled. There are some very good BBC pages on him today.

It says that he has never had any charges against him, because it predates the whole 2003 "sleeping with boys" scandal. It also doesn't mention the babies, and the baby-dangling incident. I think they should be included.

I think it would be better if you removed the reference to Madonna from the opening paragraph. This entry is about Michael Jackson, and I think the first paragraph should tell you who he was and why he is remembered.

Gnomon you are right I've changed the date and taken out the Madonna bit. I may put the trivia in the front there what do you think?

Start with a strong paragraph which is a tribute to the man. You could put in a few trivia then in a second paragraph if you want.
