Have you been to the Nijntje Pleintje? The statue looks amazing!

They've changed the Miffy books recently. Originally they had simple sentences on each page. Now they have a four line poem on each page.

A couple of years ago, I saw a wonderful Nintje exhibition in Madurodam in the Netherlands, but I believe that the exhibition is touring and is in England somewhere.

Aw lovely! I love the way the older rabbits are indicated with different mouths!
The 50th Birthday exhibition is currently at the Bethnal Green Museum of Childhood...I saw it when it opened in November! Miffy was actually there, hanging around with her fans.

You can see an early Nijntje at www.miffy.com (it's in Flash...but it's the section entitled 'Miffy's birth'). She looked rather terrifying in 1955!
