What a beautifully written article, Smudger. You manage to convey the image of this delightful lady so well, not over stating the case, but your obvious admiration comes across.
I shall direct spim to this; I bet he could get some ideas for a visual from this. She sounds like someone I would have loved to have known.
You mention Findhorn; isn't that the place that a commune or something grew massive vegetables?

Hi Terri, Glad you liked the article, she certainately was a wonderful lady, only wish I knew later on in my life. You asked about Findhorn, well it was a beautiful little fishing village on the Moray Forth coast, and indeed has a tremendous history in its own right!
Then along came this American foundation, some sort of religous sect, and they started buying up the whole place, in the end they took over what was a caravan park. Now, well least said the better
