h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

If information is power, then with holding it is...control, more power, defence, dunno.

This one went down very well at poetry readings, and invariably got a round of applause and some nods from most of the female audiences!
It was a good "performance" one, and I enjoyed doing it.

The next few are all Ouches... I found a file of stuff I wrote 20 years ago when life was a bit raw and painful and confused... so I bunged them on "here" before I bottled out - well, some of them, anyway, some still need a bit of tidying up and honing. They even made ME wince a bit... I'm so glad I am here and now, rather than then.

I seem to be going on to more positive and gentle stuff lately, which in itself is quite a strange experience. They don't have the humour or sourness the sad stuff has, but they may be easier reading....
but then again, they might be just mundane and boring. Dunno. But its fun to try,
