Is what I suspect I will be doing if I see this film. I think it might be worth the fiver just to see how bad it is.

Great column as always! Would I intrude if I were to do a 'haven't been to the cinema since Robin Hood Prince of thieves' take on 'Calender girls'? Know nothing about cinematography,less about reviewing and certainly less about sound tracks, but did feel enthusiastic about this one...suspect it's a reality age check...don't want to step on toes though and would have to set about it very much in 'boots' mode. I await permission from the room that reviews.

You know, Boots, that might just be a good idea. I've been in discussions with someone else about them doing a guest review (I've no desire to see the film myself...), but if that falls through, would you object to being my fall-back?

Not at all mon guru. Have first french evening class tomorrow but that finishes at eight...if I can get my head round technology will advise as to secret review post and you can deem whether worthy of posting or whether should be 'room with a reviewed' ...Thanks Awix.
