The other day, I was running through the various Australian euphamisms
for vomiting with a German friend of mine, and even surprised myself at
how many there are - anyone would think its a great Aussie Past-time!
So, only two in the list, here are a few more. All extra greatfully accepted..
Vomit
Liquid Laugh
Technicolour Yawn

Throw up
Hurl
Shout Hughie
Throw your voice
Chuck
a quick chuckle
Talking to god on the great porcelain telephone
Lose your lunch
feed the fish (for sea-sick variety)
toss your cookies (that one could be Seppo?)
spew
ralph
heave
And probably a bunch more.....
Chris.
ps - I almost _never_ chunder, all though I am personally in possession of one
of the _worst_ spew-stories ever..... :-Q
Aussie ephemisms

There's some great Aussie euphemisms for other bodiliy functions. My favourite is laying the brown axminster (copyright Roy & HG).

Yup, and:
*Barf
*Blowing chunks
Has the whole world noticed that, no matter what you've been eating, spew always contains carrots, or is that just an Australian thing? I've never been anywhere else, so I was just wondering. Maybe we have special vomit here.

It's not carrot!! In yr. 8 science you learn that the orange stuff is actually your stomache lining. The force with which you hurl literally pulls the lining off your stomache, one of the many dangers of bulemia. And that is why it's also call The Clever Country!

And also up-chucking.
It's always yellow - my brother once ate 2 bags of cheesy popcorn and threw it up on someone's front doorstep...it was VERY yellow.
I probably shouldn't have told you that, should I?
Z for Zac

Hi Fred, The list looks incomplete without a Z (may the Z Force be with you). I couldn't find out how to contact the editor of this thread so I'll leave this with you, in the hope that it may become an entry. I know, I know, "zac" is pre-decimal, but then so are a lot of those entries. Keep your towel dry, Rex

Larena...
My Maths teacher reliably informed me many years ago that there is an organ in the human body which transforms alcohol into diced carrot.
It's the same organ which funnels fluff into your navel.
