Blake's 7: The Return?

Post 1

MMF - Keeper of Mustelids, with added P.M.A., is now in a relationship.

Has anyone else seen this?

I didn't realise there had been a relaunched radio series, but I'm definitely there for a new version of Blake's 7, as long as it is sufficiently the same, but different, to the original.

Would the concept work?

How would Servelan, Avon and Blake be portrayed?

Any other fans out there?

I've heard it before and will believe it when I see it.

As long as they keep the relationships between the characters the same and give Avon the best one-liners, it should work. Would they start off with the same 7 characters?

As with a few BBC sci-fi shows of the time, Blake's 7 was a good idea marred by embarrassingly low production standards, and scripts clearly written by a public school boy. I'm looking forward to a much better made series this time around that allows Blake's 7 to reach its full potential.

Mol - on the new tablet

See, I was really really excited about the return of Doctor Who in 2005.

But I'm a bit 'meh' about the return of Blake's 7, even though I was much more into it at the time than I was ever into DW.

I can still vividly remember the mind-numbing shock of the end of the final episode - perhaps that's the reason why. I don't want to risk that bereavement a second time.

Blake's 7 did plot arcs well - the first 3 episodes, for instance, and each series ended with a brilliant cliffhanger.

They also had episodes like 'Web' and 'Sand'.
