Passes through almost completely un-molested.
Just as well that popcorn doesn't. It would be a bit of a grunt and then.......floaters.

I keep a written record of everythign I get blamed for....
I've often wondered about this much-quoted idea that sweetcorn passes through one's gastrointestinal tract as you say, unmolested.... I can only think that some of us have the ability to fully digest it, and others don't...

But the thing is, how MUCH of the sweetcorn gets through?
Has anyone done a study, checking how meany 'little yellow peas' are eaten and how many of those get through? And if someone has - probably for a PhD or uni these - whatwere their findings and should our taxes be used for such stuff - important though it may be?
I suppose actually, it depends on how much of the sweetcorn you actually chew. If you swallow it hole, you presumably don't get much of the flavour.
Interesting, init?
