Three Skies

Three skies in three nights,

Darkness and stars were alive.

They counted

How many accounted.

I lay awake to fire.

It was the fight against the enemy.

It was last night,

The night I passed.

Today I am tired to fire.

It was the fight for life.

Thousands of actions:

Makes a decision,

Who will win?

It matters nothing to me.

Shall I be there under the starry sky?

Shall I enjoy the victory?

Sorry, I must not think.

I have to fight;

I have to fire.

Soldiering is a profession.

Winning is a decision,

A good decision to a brave country.

I have only three skies:

Yesterday, today and tomorrow.
