Livestock subject research complete!
I've tweaked it a bit more and any more comments would be appreciated

Like the improvements, especially the fact you've managed to bring it up to the present time. Glad you got Rhodri in there, possibly my favourite British politician

Try this for reference, it also gives more info on the motivation for the initial move which I think the article is a little sparse on:

You don't seem to be able to decide whether to use past or present tense in this entry. In describing the setting up of Y Wladfa, some of it is described in the past while some it is in present tense, for example "and move to Canada". In some places you mix past and present in the same sentence.
desert like --> desert-like
between both countries --> between the two countries
or --> between Wales and Argentina

Thanks Gnomon
It was a case of bits written at different times and added in without reading the whole text through!
I've corrected them all now ... I think

Updated once more.
The link given by third man discusses the Rebecca Riots and tolls which were more of a Pembrokeshire/West Walian issue - the vast majority of Patagonia emigrants were from Bala in north Wales.
The main reason for emigration was to secure the future of the language and Welsh.

This is an interesting topic, one that I know very little about but has fascinated me for years.I enjoyed your entry. I know this may be a personal opinion, but I do find that some of your paragraphs are very short.

I think it's looking pretty good, but I agree with Z that maybe you should compress the sentences into longer paragraphs. After all this will be one of the few entries on the web about this issue, in English anyway, so you should try to look your best for visitors

, of course I meant better
I'm not sure if I like the look of long paragraphs, I just think it reads better in short sharp paragraphs - maybe I'm wrong ...?
