What would you guys suggest they had for dinner?

A good Italian/Russian dish - Pasta con Polonium with a generous slice of humble pie to follow.

These people are the leaders of the free [ and not so free ] world and should be treated as such . A pot of tea and some cheesy wotsits should suffice .

After Happy Gordy urging us all to cut down on waste to combat the recession I trust every last scrap of food that was bought was rammed down the collective throats.

What's that deadly poisonous Japanese fish ? They should have had that - prepared by a trainee chef.

I agree that 18 courses sounds somewhat excessive, but they'll have been small dishes, not like western style eating. Plain rice & vegetables might have been more appropriate.

I would have thought whale meat would be on the menu

It was very cheap in the shops today 100 yen per 100 grams
