Well I must say I am not really sure what was wrong with the first post though I can see how the punchline needed to be hidden....
Cant we even have a joke about it?
Ferrettbadger. The Renegade Master Posted Sep 13, 2007

Don't tell me the McCann phenomenon has now resulted in the censorship of all Humour? The BBC seems to be endowing them with ever greater power and influence by the second. Mind you that "Pinochet' lawyer is pretty darned clever!

Well if they are nervous then post mod or whatever the election thing is called isn't that difficult I understand. They just set it so every post is automatically refered.
In the election problem posts were being hidden in about the same time these are.

Fanny, looking at the context is precisely what im doing. Im not arguing about what they did simply pointing out the circumstances.
Drink driving goes up at Christmas and new year, i dont think its nay more forgiveable or any more wrong than other times of the year but everyone the police most noteably realise it happens and act accordingly.
Perhaps the important thing is that parents should realise that no matter how relaxed they feel and how inconvinient it is they should never let their guard down.
I wasnt scarred of being left alone at five years old, I always cherished the the opportunity for a little unsupervised exploring round the house and garden, but I guess i grew up used to being left in the garden or a room by myself. The issue on this thread is not the childs emotional but physical well being. I said earlier about how my sister who was too young and noisy to be taken out to the social club across the road was left up stair with sitters, young aunts in the front garden. She managed to start a fire with some matchs she found. The moral of the upshoot f that ws that it never happened like that again til we were much older we were always kept in sight.
As things stand I think there isnt a reprimand for the McCanns that wouldnt seem like drop in the ocean comapred to their present situation.
