Hi Rose! I forgot this was here, thanks for taking a look at it, I think you're probably the only person in the whole wide world who has! I was going to carry on to the present day but ran out of time (as usual). One of these days I'll actually finish something

How are you? Bearing up with the heat I hope. I did wonder whether your poem about ice reflected a desire for some cooling down - it definitely refreshed me.

I'm going to Bangalore next week for a couple of weeks to look for flats. Fortunately the trip won't cost much as I got my flight on air miles (business class, which is wonderful because I have a genetic blood clotting disorder which means that when I fly long haul in economy I have to get up every hour and walk around the plane, so I always arrive shattered and in a foul mood!), and the hotel is paid for by Mike's employers. We'll know by Friday whether the move out there is for definite, which is about time too, because I can't plan anything at all and really need to get a move on. Last weekend my family had its big get-together and an "aunt" who spends half her time in India brought along a friend from Bangalore, we got talking and she's offered to make introductions for me to her family out there, which is just incredible. I'm feeling very positive now, because as you know, my biggest worry was how I was going to find friends there And Auntie Joan will be coming out in February too

So that's my news, take care of yourself and keep posting!

I hope you have a lovely time and a safe flight, buisness class should be a lot better for you as you have that problem.Its great that your worries have been eased about making friends,but you shouldn't worrywith your lovely nature xx
