h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I have tried to put a link to a website in my 'Personal Space' introduction thingy. At the moment it doesn't actually work. I have followed the instructions for linking to an external website, eg;

Then whatever text, smiley or picture you wish to link the site to </LINK,

but when I try to preview I get messages about illegal characters or missing parameters. Anyone know what I am doing wrong?

Hmmm, what are you tring to link to? Have you written http:// ? Did you write the closing tag properly? (Here you've missed out the > on the end of </LINK&gt ?

This works (had a look at your space, I'm guessing this is what you wanted to link to)

It doesn't work .

I have pasted the above into my space and, although I can see it in edit mode, when I save and update the changes, nothing is there.

Have you written anything between the tags?
