A Conversation for Gordon Lightfoot

Well done - accuracy, brevity, clarity. Point of (possible) interest. If my memory does not fail me, the Albert Grossman of the self-named agency that signed Gordon Lightfoot was once the manager for a young "folk" singer out of Hibbing, Minnesota, one Robert Zimmerman, aka Bob Dylan. Thank you for a nice entry to the guide.

Carl,
Thank you for the kind words. I think you are right about Dylan being signed with Albert Grossman. Dylan and Lightfoot were contemporaries - with Lightfoot's work in the folk style influenced by Dylan.
The two have recorded each other's songs. Dylan recorded Early Morning Rain and Lightfoot has recorded a couple of Dylan's tunes as well.
