I am the Moon

2001

I am the moon flowing into your window in the dead of night.

I mould myself to your form as you dwell in the land of forgotten time

I lay down beside you hold you close to me

I escape into the veils that hide your body

I slip inside your arms

I rest a moment upon your skin

I infiltrate your lungs

I travel along your breath

I taste the sleep upon your tongue

I form the tear in the corner of your eye

I feel the hand that lingers upon your flesh

I move to cover your body with my caress

I am the source of the silken heat of your need

I am the glistening pearl of your spilling seed

I ooze into your heart

I melt with you into one

I create the secret you carry

I become the end of your goal

I am the mark upon your soul
