You'd be surprised how easy it is to bang your head in your sleep.
Right, does anyone have any better ideas for daytime activities than a tour of Derby?

Well that'll have to do for now then. You can fill a few hours that way, anyway. Any ideas for meeting times?

Any time suits me, because I live in Nottingham. However....others who are coming from further afield will need time to travel. 1 pm is always a reasonable starting point

It doesn't matter to me, either, I'm just 25mins on the bus away. Let's say 1300 then, unless someone coming from far afield has problems with that.

OK: fine by me. Now we have to think of something to do in Derby on a cold November Saturday afternoon. Let me think....we're next to the train station....and I have a notebook somewhere......

No tahnk you, I spend enough of my working day looking at trains as it is, thank you very much.
We'll meet at the station, and if it's pissing it down do a pub crawl. If it isn't, a tour of Derby with just some pubs

Err, fine by me, but we'd be pissed before we even got to The Brunswick. There's over 20 pubs on The Mile.
