Well you can see the stars from here,
looking around at them from here sure makes a person feel small...
then again, I know whats on a lot of the planets out there...
nothing special...
a lot of people getting on with there lives, and its our job to save them from the dangers of the galaxy.

oh yes... at least they know about jedi
Chancellor Kellin head of the republic for example,
has a strikt anti Jedi policy, and as far as i know has never admited to the possable existence of sith. or for a need to have jedi at all.
there are people who fear the jedi, and those who embrass us like bretheren, unfortunately the former is more comon than the latter

Why do you feel the Chancellor takes this position. Is it ignorance, or something more insidious?

personally I think that its something insidious...
I think our Chancellor has taken the stance so long he cant change his view publicly at least....

We may give advice perhaps,
and on occasion it has been knowen for one of the planets to help us
but as Yavin Iv is but a small moon we do not have a representative and our views are not important ones in the mind of the chancellor

Indeed it should,
but it is always useful to learn how to talk to polititions
Debateing and negotiations,
the skills come in more helpful than you may think
also mind tricks although they are not effective againt the strong minded or other jedi.
