I have actually read what happened on Arras properly actually.

I used Arras simply because it wasnt a major planet and had no tactical advantage. Arras had no history in the game unlike corellia et al and so was a blank state.

The reason for Arras wasnt because it was you planet Ancha, or because of this imaginary grudge that i allegedly have. I attacked it for two reasons.
It not being an established planet, it had no history. Things have happened on all the other planets in the game so far that give a PC a reason to go there. Arras as you quite rightly pointed out was just the planet where your charecter came from.

Secondly, and most importantly, it was an example. I have practically begged HPB to stop this entire war plot for the ramifications it would have on the game as a whole.

Look at it this way. Your Od'sseus/Admiral. Your surrounded by a numerically superior enemy who can attack you at any time. You know if you stay where you are your going to be destroyed by orbital guns within a few days. The best form of defence would therefore be offence, and so with the fleet thats been built up since the war declaration (Its increased in size from 34,000 strong 9 ships, to 2 million strong and goblin knows how many ships) the leader would send 200,000 troops in ten groups to different planets and cause utter chaos. That would be acting in charecter (aka last act of a desperate general)

Now what effect would this have? Well you can see for yourself. Arras was a walk over because Ancha put the population low. Lots of death. Imagine going to every planet in this game and finding nothing but death and destruction. Can any one here seriously say that it the game would survive?

Thats why i did four things to try and stop it. Kill ma'rol who caused it all, hopefully buying the appeasement of the republic. Kill sindarrin, who would no doubt go after a war being Palpatine clone. Kill Kellin (failed), when it was clear the war was going to continue so that a sympathiser could go in and stop the war.

And the fourth and final thing. I did the most unusual thing ever. I surrendered. An army bred to know nothing but death and war surrendered. How charecterful. But it stopped chaos in the game.

I also brought Ma'rol back, and was going to set up somewhere quiet with a few thousand men (which is why the hammerhead moved). Ma'rol died to stop the war, knowing he could never again go back to the republic without causing an instant war. Sitting on thule or Korriban however, i could have had a good laugh.

Instead, Anthea killed Ma'rol (agree on because she was killing Anoon and knew i could bring the him back) and Od'sseus was killed by my own words.


Ancha, its a sad time if you think all this was just about you. It wasnt.

If you needed "an example" you could have used one on the unused planets on the front page list.

You picked Arras /because/ it was my planet.

Using one of those planets would of gotten no notice. Theres about a handful i could have chosen from i agree, but how many people are subscribed to Cerea? Who else other then HPB would have seen an attack on one of the countless planets.

Beleive me Ancha it wasnt because it was your planet. Look at the thread back log and see how many people were subscribed. Enough to kick up a fuss and people to notice the effect that would have if done ten times over.

If the war had of stopped for definate, then Kamino would have used the war money from Naboo to replace the population within a week (50,000 inhabitants right? Easy job). The only thing that was destroyed was your hut because it was the only independant settlement listed outside the main point of Erianna (had you listed others, they too would have got the same treatment) and the port which again is easily fixed given the inexhaustable academy funds.

Do what you like. You do anyway.

I have no intention of updating the Arras page to reflect your actions.
