I had an early start today and I cheated...

I drank lots of water before going to sleep and took a bottle of aspirin so when I awoke at 5 a.m. (my time) I felt fine, except for the extreme lack of sleep!

You took a BOTTLE of aspirin and you woke up? How?

There were only three pills left in the bottle.

Got a bit confused on Thursday night (in the pub) and forgot I had to go to work the next day. Evil hangover from hell.

Felt so bad I kept forgetting to do the pinching thing - still suffering when I got home from work in the evening. So I'd say no, it doesn't work. Although my inability to stick to the prescribed method and dosage might have been the problem.

Suggested alternative hangover cure - two days in bed surrounded by self-pity. Works every time...
