aw, cosmicdudeman... don't say that! You'll end up in the Flea Market and there is definitely a good argument for having a Photoshop entry in the guide.
How about if I say "please" nicely?

Alright I'll start an entry on file formats, but I'm going to need someone else to finish it (or at least give me all the information).

looks like Jon's done it - now all you need to do is to remember to get them cross referenced when they're both edited

What!? I just started an entry on it! *sigh* Should I just delete it?

I don't have much (I just cut and pasted it over), but I can try. I see it in the Peer Review section.

Yeah, I have nothing on that, I linked that entry to mine, and I checked to make sure it works (meaning that it does).

what happens is that edited entries can only link to other edited entries (for links within h2g2)
So, that means that if your entry gets approved first, the link will be cut out. Then, when the other entry gets it's day on the FP, you can drop a line to editorial feedback and get it put back in.
or vice versa, if his entry gets picked and done first (yep, PR can be a bit of a lottery)
in the meantime, I'll have another wee sufty at yours.

Can't mine be delayed until his is put on the edited guide?

righty ho
under Editing tools
Editing tools (in this entry, I don't know how anyone else would define it) - you can remove the part in brackets, I think it's quite clear without it
If you turn off the anti-aliased - although you explain where to find this on the toolbar, perhaps an explanation of what it actually means? (really, I have never ever used this program, so maybe it's a stupid question...)
The sponge tool either saturates or desaturates.5 - here you'll have to just move your full-stop to after the
The clone stamp tool is hard to describe, the user selects a point (using ALT+left click) to copy from. - you don't need to mention that it is hard to describe,I think. Or it is a little confusing. can you only do this with the keyboard, or can you use a mouse? or a combination of both?
If he/she holds down on the - change the he/she to you. (and any other he/she you have left in here. It makes the entry more personal and chatty, which you have in most of the entry, it makes it more readable)
There is a difference between the paintbrush tool and the airbrush tool. In later versions (starting in either version 7.0 or CS/8.0 the airbrush is an option of the paintbrush. - somewhere in here you need to close the bracket.
it will appear gray - it's mean I know, but please use the BritishEnglish spelling - grey.
What's the difference between cropping and extracting?
Under filters:
I would suggest that you play around with them to see what they do. - you'll need to get rid of the 'I' there and put it in the 2nd or 3rd person
Under Slice tool and saving for web
The slice tool is used to do this. You slice the image into bits using it. - you can delete the second sentence.
and now someone else will be along and tell me that is all a load of doggy doo doos!
also, if you look at the entry, all the text in the 2nd half is jammed up against the headers. It would read a lot easier if you could space it out a little.

the eds will hopefully notice and add in the links as the last one hits the frontpage
Either that or a curator can add them just after

I can always check it once it does hit the front page, oh, and I fixed the spelling of "grey" (I think I just plain forgot how to spell it correctly, I don't right it often) and fixed some of the confusing parts.
Happy?
Of course you're not, you're a scout.

Hi! You'll possibly wish you hadn't asked
I found the whole article very interesting and informative; as I've only recently purchased a copy of Photoshop.
Sorry to be pedantic but there were three things which I noted and this is not meant as criticism.
1. Might it be worth mentioning; to avoid confusion, when you talk of the real Photoshop that it is actually Adobe Photoshop?
2. Under the heading Extraction Tool - second line (The remain image) should this read (The remaining image)?
3. Under the heading Liquify Tool - also second line (it is found in under the filter menu) in or under?
All in all a great entry

little jibes at Scouts don't endear you to those who get to pick entries for the guide you know....
I've been busy, for my part. But I'll have a look over the weekend.

Since liquify is rally a filter rather tan a tool - ie its under the filters menu, then shouldn't it be under filters in the entry.
it isn't difficult to describe filters. Most are self explanitory and do roughly what they say on the tin. I feel that it is a bit unballenced to have liquify getting twice as much text as all the other filters put together.
Perhaps a mention that you can also chnage how layers interact with iother layers through their transparcy settings. Using these setting can help increase contrast, brightness, change colours, and help merge images.
