Sooo ...., it's not so much predicting as recognizing, ...right?

Good information, and enough to save a couple of lives I'd wager. Concise and well composed.

I'd have to agree I'd also have to come back to this one since I'm about to leave for work. This one has grabbed my attention though, seeing as how I live at the far southern end of Tornado Alley

There are people who go round chasing tornados (and lightning storms, for that matter). I seem to remember they plug in to some kind of forecasting mechanism. It might be worthwhile mentioning this.

Also, I remember seeing something on TV about tornadoes and I understand that people in Tornado Alley tend to have tornado shelters built in their houses, which gives them somewhere safe to go if the worst strikes. Worth a mention/

I like it. Well written and a really useful how to entry. Keep your fingers crossed because I think its fine as it stands, and I'm going to recommend it.
