Another forecasting for the lay-man entry. This time concentrating on that awesome, yet devastating, weather phenomenon known as the tornado...

Sooo ...., it's not so much predicting as recognizing, ...right?

Good information, and enough to save a couple of lives I'd wager. Concise and well composed.

There is only one thing worse than being Gosho, and that is not being Gosho

I'd have to agree smiley - erm I'd also have to come back to this one since I'm about to leave for work. This one has grabbed my attention though, seeing as how I live at the far southern end of Tornado Alley smiley - smiley

Zarquon's Singing Fish!

There are people who go round chasing tornados (and lightning storms, for that matter). I seem to remember they plug in to some kind of forecasting mechanism. It might be worthwhile mentioning this.

Also, I remember seeing something on TV about tornadoes and I understand that people in Tornado Alley tend to have tornado shelters built in their houses, which gives them somewhere safe to go if the worst strikes. Worth a mention/

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've therefore moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.

If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.

Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!
