Do you have an internet account where you pay for the time you're connected to the net?
Why not find an ISP where you have a flat rate for the connection and don't pay for the call itself?
The one I'm using at home gives me 150 hours included in the connection fee of £15.99. That's like 5 hours a day, every day, which I think is pretty good.

You don't pay attention, do you?
Remember I told you aaaages ago I paid through Tiscali on my credit card, and you laughed as you don't have to stay with BT for the 12 months?
Anyway, this is my mobile bill - I was using that to connect to the internet via my laptop and didn't know how much it was costing me...

Ah, yes.. I do recall something along those lines . Anywho, connecting through your mobile is just painful.. It's slow and it costs a bundle. Better to try and get a second phone line installed and then connecting through that.

Ach well, it's done now. I'll know better in the future not to do it again!

Munchkin Posted Sep 1, 2003
Now this may be a stupid question, but do we have a meeting up time in this fabled pub by the station on Saturday? While I could sit there from opening, I quite fancied a wee look round while I was above the Arctic circle.
