Have to agree that I wasn't quite sure what all this was about ... either posted to the wrong place, or incredibly obscure lateral thinking.
As an aside I also don't understand why that is the perfect ad. Please explain.

I think Bossel was just pointing out the similarity in the concepts.
The perfect ad receives one, and only one, respondant.
The googlewhack produces one, and only one, result.
In both it's a matter of finding the right words to get that one result/respondant.

Ahhh I see.
And the ad?
As for the entry ... seems to me that as a minimum it should be amended to include Googlism, Googlewhacking and Googlefighting. Perhaps retitled to "Games to Play With Google" or some such ...

Yes, that would seem a very good idea.
Once the author turns up.

Eh? It's only been two weeks. Not two months. Can't push it over to FM yet.

I might suggest changing well known website to well known search engine. And maybe explain that the two words shouldn't be related, or the same number of letters, or any other way to connect them. Perhaps also link to googlewhack.com

Hmm...I see what you mean about flea market...

Back to entry I would say. I wouldn't be keen on this entry taking up one of the precious 'minimum of two' entries per day in any form.
Propose back to entry.

I'd send it off to the Flea Market myself. Although it may be very short, most of what you *can* say about a Googlewhack is in it.

I think there's good scope for an entry about Google and all it's side effects ... I shall be seeing Dave Gorman's show in mid-November so can contribute something about that ...
