hello nate!
having experienced this abominable game before (i lack motor coordination), i'm quite pleased that someone has chosen to tackle the subject however, i would like to suggest that you expand the article a little further to cover other variations of the game, rather than leave it for someone else to write about (and risking the hazards of overlapping!). maybe you might like to add that in addition to the huge arcade version, there are also more home-friendly versions for certain video game consoles (you can play it on both the mat and console on playstation) and computers. and then there are also those who have jumped on the game bandwagon and created variations of the dance dance thingy for keyboard (i don't know if you've seen it, but it's this arcade game thingy with a two-octave or so keyboard... works the same way, only you play with your fingers), electronic drums, maracas and er, whaddya call 'em, para para dancing (that's the dance where all you do, basically, is wave your arms around. i've never understood the point of it).
if you're really up to it, you might even want to add a little bit of history on how this dance dance revolution game came into being.
anyway, good of you to take the initiative to write about this! it's become quite a bit of a cool thing at arcades here - you have all these guys who play it to show off. and they're *really* good at it too (we're talking guys who have memorised the steps and do really cool things like handstands and leaps)

kind of sad, isn't it, how these authors submit and then disappear...

Well, this one didn't get an immediate response, so I imagine the author was a bit disappointed. I also think that some people don't think they have to change *a word* of what they've written or see feedback as criticism of them, rather than their entry.

i find odd how people seem to zoom right past the fact that pr is the place you submit your article for polishing... i dunno. *i* can't live without pr!

reports of my death are greatly exagerated :D. if anyone has some specifics on this, i would be happy to include them.... but for now i'm working on a couple of other entries, so this may take back burner...

If you are open to the idea, I'd like to take a shot at the article.
