People stopping dead in front of you...

...you know the scenario....you're walking down a busy street and suddenly, with no warning or prior intimation of intent, some fool stops dead right in front of you. And you usually find it's some coffin-dodging old git...."Oooo Bessie...isn't that hat dear?".

Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!

I've been known on occasion to wait until they've resumed their shuffle before overtaking them and then returning the favour.....

And mine. And when they turn without checking their blind spot and indicating. And yes, I do mean pedestrians... I hate 'em! F82769?thread=173120

Being fairly nimble & having quick reactions, I'm not inconvenienced by people stopping as described. What gets me is people who stand in groups discussing the time of day in the middle of the footpath. My particular hate is large people carrying shopping bags walking (or waddling) at 1mph down the middle of a narrow footpath. It's always large people who do this. I think they must feel invulnerable because of their size.

You can call me TC

People definitely do do it - stop in front of you. Worse still, they step backwards without looking behind them. Ouch! smiley - bruised or even smiley - injured
