Welcome good reader and let us once more enjoy
A tale from the Toy Box, fun for every girl and boy.
Knitty Noodles
Knitty Knoddles was a pig all made of wool
A jolly shade of bright pink that could never be called dull
But unfortunately for Knitty one day it is said
That her wool began to unravel from a hole in her head
'Oh dear,' cried Knitty, 'Alas I am undone'
'When one's stuffing falls out playing with me will be no more fun'
'I'll be abandoned, alone, and unravel 'til I'm no more'
'Just a pile of wool and stuffing gathering dust on the floor'
Then to her rescue came Wilson, a bear of great skill
Who grabbed two 'pick-up-sticks' and the stuffing to refill
In the hole all the stuffing he carefully replaced
And then guided the loose strand of wool onto the sticks with gentle haste
Then concentrating hard he knitted fast but with great care
Until the hole was no more, and Knitty had nothing left to fear
'Oh Wilson,' sighed Knitty, ' A hero you surely be'
'Saved from a fate worse than death, you're the bestest friend to me.'
The End
