I love the idea of ranch type homes with courtyards. The whole center being plants, windows facing the centered courtyard. I would especially like a round design. The outside walls being solar panels.

I would design buildings to take up as little space as possible, so that lots of space can be given up to plants. I also thought of using solar panels, on the walls and roofs of buildings, so that the sunlight would not be wasted!
One possibility I thought of was having large rooms built under the ground, so that you'll have much more living space beneath, compared to above.

It's very efficeient energy wise to be under ground. Constant temperatures.
