A Conversation for The League Of Obsessive Nitpickers

Prior to engaging in any transatlantic legal turmoils perhaps you will consider the gross offense your group is (possibly unknowingly) perpetrating against the Canadian loon and give some thought to a possible change of name.
The loon is a quiet and peaceful bird who wouldn't hurt a flea. Its soft, incessant night call is the farthest thing from harping, mithering, nagging or nitpicking and is a tranquil and reassuringly constant reminder of our country's peace and quiet. We honor the bird on our one dollar coin, sometimes called a 'loonie'. This unsavoury association with nitpicking is a blight upon our clear crisp image.
It is a small matter, but because you guys are in the Big Leagues Of Obsessive Nitpicking, I thought you might like to consider changing your name to something with a positive slant like BLOONies. The B of course would stand for Big. But it's no big deal, really.

I kind of like LOON, though. It has the flowing quality of a word not present in most acronyms. Bird
I am a LOONie. Not a BLOONie.

>> Bird or not... <<
Well you seem set in your way, "Bird or not...", so I'll allow that you meant no harm to my bird. I'll even endorse LOONies in its more common sense of a short but misspelled variant of 'lunatics' if you will add a disclaimer to your page guaranteeing that no real loons were harmed and no disparaging of real loons is intended.
