It actually looks like a University project to me, Cal
Hopefully MJ will be along soon and he will be able to point Ben in the right direction

Atually, this looks more like the index page of a University project proposal with a link to just one of the proposed entries.
Ah, it is: F87274?thread=2728807
You don't need to submit the index page of your project to PR, benjamin.

As you will see from the other discussion thread, Hitler's first 30 years has been in EG for some time but it hasn't had any responses in a while. I was hoping I might get some more feedback in peer review.

Alright, you guys reply too fast for me. Linkl page is in University- do I need to post the individual entries in peer review? You have 60 seconds....

Right, I think you might not have grasped the full idea of a Uni Project ben, but that's understandable because it's about as clear as a chocolate fireguard
A h2g2 Uni Project involves writing 5 (or more) individual Entries that are related in some way about a certain subject. Not just one single Entry as you have done on Hitler. I'll use the Project I have in Peer Review at the moment as an example;
A10270289 h2g2 University Project: British Fighter Aircraft of World War 2
You will see from the submitted Project page that the subject is fighter aircraft, but the seperate entries are on several different aircraft, totalling 5 Entries (or is it six, I can't recall).
So you need to complete all your Entries before even thinking of submitting them for Peer Review! Then when you have got them all as good as you think you can, you contact a Subeditor and ask if they would like to sub the pieces for you. Once all have been subbed you pop the Project page into Peer Review as you have done here, then get feedback on each Entry you have written for the complete project. Once all the feedback is done (about a week or two), you contact the mighty italics and soon enough your project will get into the Edited Guide
However, you only have one Entry in the Project on Hitler, so it doesn't constitute a Uni Project that is ready for Peer Review as yet If you feel you need help writing the Entries for the Project, then promote your Project! If you can't get it off the ground, then again, ask about. Go to the talk forums and say you're doing the project does anyone fancy helping out (ask h2g2 and Misc Chat)?
You have tackled a controversial topic for a relative 'newbie' to h2g2 and Peer Review, so I wish you luck with it
For now I further suggest you either -
a. Remove the Project from Peer Review and then concentrate on getting the entire project finished and re-submitting it as a whole in the future.
or
b. Remove the Project and Peer Review and submit it to the Writing-Workshop, explaining that you need some more input about the subject and what you've done so far.
or
c. Remove the Project from Peer Review and submit the single Entry on Hitler as you have written already to either the Writing-Workshop or even Peer Review if you feel brave enough for that
Hope that helps clear things up a bit and doesn't put you off
Drop me a line at my Personal Space if you want some further pointers - I've been involved in a few Uni Projects in the past...(and a few EG Entries too )

Times's up, too slow. Oh well, I'll read it anyway...
Yes, I was a little confused (although I have kept the fireguard anyway for recreational purposes). I understood the five projects prinicpal but after that I got a bit lost (obviously). As it stands my large and alarming collection of Hitler books (well, three, but they're all large) is at my parents house (no room in small removal van) so I need to do some library based research to get my knowledge up to scratch again before I complete the whole thing, so it could be a while from being finished. In the mean time, thanks for the advice, I shall withdraw with as much dignity as I can manage with a half-melted lump of chocolate stuffed in my pocket.

Well done Ben, good on yer! You are the type of new Researcher that I like to see in these here parts! As Matt has just explained, your potential Uni Entry is not quite appropriate for Peer Review, but your writing is good, very good. So, stick with it!!
It's lovely to see that you can take the advice with a sense of humour - I really hope that I will see a lot more of your contributions.
<>
Hopefully, *you* won't withdraw - as I say, I want to see more of what you are quite clearly able to offer. Believe it or not, I have seen your work in here (PR), in the writing workshop, and in the AWW. I just haven't commented on any of it. The main reason is that I'm relatively new to PR and still finding my feet, but you have been noticed, by me at least, and I'm sure by many, many others. Keep punting your stuff out because it is fun to read and shows a huge amount of promise.
I spent over a year on h2g2 before I felt brave enough to contribute. Once I had, I was so impressed with the advice and help that I'd had in PR that I was spurred on to write a number of new Entries - my first is 'pending' now and has been blessed with a 'Blob'. I can't wait to see it on the front page. PR can be a tricky process, but all the Reviewers pass coments in order to help good work along, improve it and make it perfect for the Guide. Read as many help pages as you can, find out as much about the various processes as you can and then put your work back in. It will be welcomed!!
Good luck.

Well frankly it does me good to get slapped down now and again anyway. As you mayt have figured out for yourself, I am ridiculously over-confident (a five part project on Hitler? Sure, why the hell not...) in far too much of a hurry and it is useful to be working (or just vaugle arsing around with no particular purpose) in an environment where people are able to point out the (many) errors of my ways and be nice about it at the same time. I'll be back, you wait and see WAH HA HA HA HA HA!
Have I spelt that right?

I'm curious to know the origin of "MWAHAAHAHAHAHAHA!"
A girl in my chemistry class keeps making this sound as she's working, for no apparent reason.

benjaminpmoore Posted Apr 23, 2006
Is the girl in your chemistry calss by any chance Count von Count? TRhat might explain it. I suspect that it comes from some crappy old Hammer Horror thing, but I've never seen any Hammer Horror so that's rather a shot in the dark. Actually, I think Count von Count was more sort of 'HA HA HA'. Does this girl make the noise just in chemistry or is it in other lessons? That might be a worry.

'Have you heard of David Hahn?' Regret no. Should I be ing at this?
I haven't seen her in other classes; it's just that periodically as I'm lecturing, I hear this Mwahahaha noise emanating from her.

Have you checked your flies?
Seriously, though, other than the fact that she might just REALLY enjoy chemistry, I think she's just playing the whole mad scientist bit, as seen in numerous pulp/cult television serials.

How old is this girl anyway? Because if she's just a kid then it's probably okay, but when you're, I don't know, sixteen, maybe she's in danger of the other boys and girls thinking she's a bit of a nutter.

She's 17 and a wee bit eccentric. Apparently she is naturally blonde but I've only ever known her with dyed jet black hair. She also has numerous piercings (tongue, 'Nefertiti' ear lobes, back of neck, top of sternum are the ones I actually know about 'coz they're visible. I dread to think where else she might have them She dresses all in black, so she's a bit of a goth. She's also into self-harming.
