hiya i used ld and yoome, my name was vodka chick on both, had few other names also here is a list:

and i cant remember any more, i have a really bad memory but thats what happens when you get to my age!

i could usually be found propping up the bar of The LD Arms, frequently did an all nighter in there throwing darts at TheDistrictMom and Tinny, (Tintym hiss spit), or spiking there drinks, other than that i floated in and out of the Foyer but thats about it, not much else to tell really other than i often did hard time at that place, you know.....Barredsville on many an occassion! (must say though it had its good points, TheDistrictAngel served 3 hot meals a day and she never confiscated my keyboard, just my names) lol

i used to hang out in the foyer and the pub thats where i spent most of my time, the district mom spoke to me a few times and most of the time it was my round! was lucky never to go to barredsville must have been some mystic force lookin out for me. made lots of friends on ld and i do miss it but hopefully h2g2 might compare closely!

i didnt spend as much time in the foyer as i did in the pub, unless i was upsetting the snobs lol
TheDistrictMom spoke to me a lot too, usually to tell me to off, and your right about the tight fisted cow, she never bought a drink! actually just before it went for good we had a long exchange of views in pm, and she said she actually liked me a lot but TPTB were all a set of and she had to follow rules she didnt agree with (hmmm them PTB get around dont they) lol you hope this place might compare closely? lol some people are ok and some are those i find though are in the majority of cases ex LD with a grudge, (so yeah to some extent there are some similiaritys ) but depending on what friends you make here, and you keep your nose clean, you should be alright lol

insomniac: i was a part time foyer user, had far too much fun in the ld arms , havent come across anyone with a grudge from ld yet, everyone ive spoken to have been very helpful and co-operative, i guess im new and the true light will shine through soon enough.

Im gonna have to cut my nails theyre getting in the way of typing and ive made countless errors whilst writing this msg it took about 30 mins to type

yeah must say i had some good times in The LD Arms myself, ive never come across a site like it since

well i dont know how new you actually are to h2g2 but have you come across French Loup/Mandy/TheDandyHighwayman or before? they all run or have a hand in LD related stuff from the LDers homepage with a list of all the LD on here to 'pub rooms'/'tea shops' and the like, if your looking for any old pals in particular these are probably the people to look out for on the 'online' list, and loads have kept their LD names anyway

i think if you ask most people will point you in the right direction, hows it going with GuideML? that was the biggest obstacle on here for me, a right though fortunately i always get other people to do it for me lol but your ace should help you with that
