The sun rose this morning on my heavy heart
Something good would set this day apart
I was unaware of the news the day would bring
Like the end of winter and the start of spring
My hope was brought back to me
My youth restored, I was happy to be
This sigh of relief shared by us
Returned to each other trust
For now I know why I must take care
In case again, I am caught unaware.
