The older I get, the less I like rare meat. Unfortunately, my sister in law had time problems, with the result that the beef for Christmas dinner was a little on the rare side. smiley - erm I managed to find enough well-cooked meat around the edges of my piece. smiley - biggrin

Believe it or not, my Christmas day was relatively uneventful and not too stressful at all, which was most likely due to me cooking John's lump of dead cow's bottom and Chris' free range chicken early in the morning.

smiley - bigeyes what would be wrong with rare meat? red steak? blood not quite dripping out anymore but still reddish pink or pinkish red on the inside?
and with sauce smiley - drool yesterday's was g**t's cheese with honey and thime mixture (don't tell Hati about the cheese)
