Did they also not have lakes and ponds that far back?
I haven't heard about Petersen, bur I've heard of Piet Grune.

maybe lakes and ponds were invented after the mirrors?
you mean piet hein and his grooks?
i just sent some to lanzababy the other day, check this out:
The noble art of losing face
may one day save the human race
and turn into eternal merit
what weaker minds would call disgrace.

Anybody who is a mathematician is already a good guy or gal. I think.

What type of articles are trainers? Are they shoes? Underwear? Running shorts? Something else?

Pirate Alexander LeGray Posted Oct 27, 2010
Cheap shoes made out of fabric and plastic. My feet bleed when wearing other types and I'm quickly crippled.
I'm hearing in the local news now, to be terminally ill isn't any longer good enough reason for support from the state.
The new government have withdrawn aid from somebody with only nine months left to live.
I didn't vote for this lot, but a lot of silly billy's did. I was told this is in the 'Yorkshire Post'.

What is the government trying to say by doing this? That the patient involved could still be working for living? That the patient has the financial means to last another nine months without government support?

I think they are saying we don't want to give any more money. Ironic but a footballer that can't score goals gets a £250,000 PER WEEK pay deal and gets to go on holiday in Dubai when he is supposed to be working.
And it is reported he pays £2000 for a bottle of beer

Does Hamlet vacation there, too?
Dubai, or not Dubai

That is the question; actually I'm thick at English, but not as thick as the footballer who thinks he can hold a club to ransom.
The Shakespeare company has had its budget cut as well.

It seems that all the world class stuff and we aint got much, gets cut.
The Royal Ballet got the chop as well, not that I'm interested in ballet but it is good,
and they are both based in Birmingham my home university town, maybe that is why they are getting the chop.
I'm just waiting for Lord Snooty Osbourne the chancellor and his smirking cohorts to get the chop. They have demonised the old and disabled to distract attention away from their million pound bonus friends in the city.

That's in line with what's happening around here. The library I used to work in has lost three fulltime positions because of a hiring freeze. The administrators/elected Trustees spent a recent meeting discussing where to cut open hours. What, take away a clean, pleasant place where people can just come in an read the local papers/magazines or pick out books or DVDs that they'd like to borrow?
Why don't they just hire a couple more people, and let the senior citizens and mothers and children come in to enjoy one of the few innocent pleasures that is left in this world?

It is up to us to do it. They don't understand simple pleasure. It is odd where the wishes of the many get superseded by the greed of the few, but that is what is happening here.

It is 11 months since I last had a ciggie I was going to say fag but thought better of it.
I still get cravings and I fancy a ciggie right now. In fact I previously gave up for 10 years.
