Fine I'll take a few examples of meson based technologies, so we can easily integrate into our ships systems. Also do you sell cheese tikka sarnies!!!

any food you want, you get, under the table of course.
As to meson based tech, we can just give you meson adapters if you wish.
request it, ans I'm sure we can find it, and a meson addapter

How much would it cost for a meson adapter to intergrate say a plasma bolt to the ships nossle!!!

His Divine Shadow: ACE, Shi Alyt Posted Jun 27, 2003
a "plasma bolt"? as in an orb of excited gas?

F F Churchton Posted Jun 30, 2003
hot excited gas, yes, it needs to be a good 30,000C to be a quality Plasma!!!

ok, so, do you want an Imperial turbolaser or a Centauri ion accelerator?
The Imperial guns have punch, range, and penetration power while the Centauri guns have a much faster rate of fire, and exploding shot

Well as lasers go, nothing beats the CGE UV pulse lasers and I feel ion cannons are abit antiquated. Do you have anything that uses antimatter/matter as a component of fuel!!!

you underestimate the power of some technologies, besides, "laser" is just a term, not the definition of the operating priniciples. Anyway, matter/anti-matter systems are rare.
There's photon torpedoes (useless) and there's Vree anti-matter discharge cannons, very powerful. nothing can top them.

Lasers are just beams are just beams of photons, I'm interested im these Vree things tell me more!!!

well, L.A.S.E.R. is a stream of photons. laser is a hold over term from the past like cannon or howitzer. The Imperial lasers are actually multy phase plasma laucnhers that use a laser to excite Tibana (or Exciter) gas to plasmatic state and then use powerful magnets to launch the plasma toward whatever needs to die. A single Imperial medium turbolaser produces a double blast of unphased plasma that has a range of several light seconds and a yeild of 200 megatons
technically cannon is a large cast iron tube through which one fires a lead ball by packed powder, but in modern military terms it is a large calibre rapid fire, externaly powered weapon that often uses gatling or similar principals to achieve rates of fire in the thousands range
And if we are being technical, then your Meson Howitzer is nothing more than an artillery peice that can fire mesons at a range of 6 miles or less
Now, to the Vree use a quantom singularity generator to produce the energy for their ships. It is a wonderful power source that produces nearly unlimited power and only 1 byproduct, non-radioactive anti-matter. The Vree, always inovative and on the lookout for new things that do stuff better than the prevouis stuff did, thought that this would make an excellent weapon. And so, the Anti-matter Discharge cannon was born. The Vree designed a mechanism that consists of 21 tubes on the bottom of their larger saucer craft and is right under the power generator so that the waste anti-matter is simply dropped down a few decks and into the anti-matter magazine. The weapon is rapid fire, very powerful, and quite accurate (what with having 21 shots per burst, a bit like a shot gun really) and will always have amunition as long as the powerplant is in operation.

Yes, the meson blasts are short range but more powerful than ion/plasma/neutron/fission/fusion/microwave rubbish you see on the market these days however long range tactical missiles such as Nitro-rockets which implode on impact and the ever popular thermo-nuclear warheads which causes massive destruction with great accuracy and can be fired several thousnad miles away.
Pesruming you can have great air superiority, it does'nt really matter about artillery which are about as accuarate as a report by Enron. However short range combat with artillery or lack of air superiority and the artillery speak for themselves!!!

you still underestimate Imperial/Centauri technology
oh well, so, how 'bout those Vree anti-matter disharge cannons then eh?

Do you except any other elements like platnium or Uranium!!!

His Divine Shadow: ACE, Shi Alyt Posted Jul 16, 2003
well, the Imperial Credit sometimes comes in platinum peices (though they are often for collectors and limited releases), in that case I would, but uranium isn't very useful. fission bombs are weak and depleted uranium has nothing on durasteel. perhaps if you were to offer some manner of equipment in fare trade, that could work. but I only accept gold and Imperial/Republic credits as money.

F F Churchton Posted Jul 18, 2003
I'll start the bidding at 2 million metric tonnes of platnium, equivelant!!!

a good start, conservative, but large. Four million
