Hmmmm.... Here's a few thoughts and comments:

I think this *is* a good idea for an entry.

I don't think the title is very clear as it stands -- from the title, I would think that the do's and don'ts are *for* people who are depressed and chronically ill -- i.e., don't lie in bed all day when you are depressed. And yet the beginning is all about people who are dealing *with* those who are depressed or ill.

From a medical perspective, depression _is_ a chronic illness. So saying this is about chronic illness in the title would perhaps be sufficient, and then you could explain in the introduction that this includes everything from MS to depression to fibromyalgia?

And then... Some of the entry seems focused on people who are dealing with others who are depressed or chronically ill, and some of the entry seems focused on dealing with being depressed or chronically ill yourself. Myself, I see those as being two rather separate topics, perhaps better separated into different entries, as they have different audiences.

I don't know that the list format works very well, at least not without some kind of paragraph style introduction.

I agree the title needs help.

Maybe two entries.
It started as two seperate topics entries, maybe we should turn back to that.

I like all of it. I think the top part is a different mood and flow from the rest. Which makes sense , knowing who wrote whatsmiley - winkeyeThe sacrasm should stand alone perhaps.
Pedboy you could do your own entry also, if you are attached to that part in particular. There is no need to toss it, it'ss good sarcasm.

smiley - star Practical help for those on the outside looking in, was my primary goal. The support systems helper guide. Do and don'ts for persons wishing to support.

So there are three distinct parts
(1)sarcasm-responses
(2) hints for the ill person
(3) hints for the support persons

I found 1 point-line offense about depression and also the reference to the visitor needing counseling.

Pedboy you could do your own entry with that. There is no need to toss it, it's good sarcasm. I would drop the comments I mentioned in the end of this post.
