This may be a Northen-California specific thing, but it could work in other places too.
Because it's hot during the summer (usually low 80's to low 90's Farenheit) but dry, I just wear a t-shirt to cover my lack of upper-body muscle, and tight jeans (occasionally with rips and tears in the old ones during hotter weather). I stay cool, and nobody can see how pale and hopelessly out of shape I am.

Good idea.
I drink water, club soda, club soda with a splash of fruit juice, or iced tea all day long. And I wear a hat.
