A Conversation for Talking Point: Games - Traditional Versus Virtual

life is like a cup of coffee... Started conversation Jul 30, 2003
it used to be that a board game would get a family together, sit around and talk. now people get so imersed in pc/console games that they can't talk to someone unless they are online. my coffee shop is next door to an online game center and its amazing how long people will spend in front of a computer. i watched one guy spend 36 hrs in a span of 48 playing the new ff11. its how he interacts with people rather than actually talking to someone.
